Enjoy a picnic whilst hunting for wild flowers & tree spotting with an expert local Botanist - great family fun!

Start the school holidays by bringing a picnic to Waterfall Park (opposite Suggitt’s Ices) in Great Ayton on Tuesday 24th July between 12 noon and 2:00 pm.

Whilst you picnic have fun hunting for wildflowers and go tree spotting with an expert local botanist. You will also have a chance to explore the work being done to make the park more accessible and attractive plus help plan how to increase the range of wildflowers, in the park and other areas of Great Ayton, to provide more nectar for pollinators. If you can’t make the picnic, fill in the questionnaire in The Discovery Centre or Thompson’s Hardware, from 25th July to 25th August, to have your say.

This free event is organised by Moor Sustainable CIC with funding from Hambleton District Council’s 'Making a Difference Fund' and Great Ayton Parish Council. For further information, contact Caryn Loftus on 01642 723137 or email info@moorsustainable.org.uk
